K-Days Rodeo

Where: Northlands Coliseum     When: July 21-23 – Doors open: 5:30 p.m., Rodeo starts: 6:30 p.m.

K-Days brings a Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) sanctioned three-day rodeo. Experience the excitement as professional cowboys and cowgirls ride, rope and bronc their way to victory and compete for their piece of more than $400,000 in prize pool money and an opportunity to qualify for the Canadian Finals Rodeo this November! Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) Innovation Garage Competition

Where: Hall C, Edmonton EXPO Centre     WhenJuly 21-23, noon – 9 p.m.

K-Days hosts the first ever CNE Innovation Garage Competition in Edmonton. The Canadian entrepreneurs and innovators pu their unique ideas against each other to compete for prize money and a chance to head to Toronto for a shot at the national title this August. Check here for more information.

Pow Wow & Northlands Indigenous Princess Pageant 

Where: Hall D, Edmonton EXPO Centre

When: July 25: 6 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., July 26: Noon – 11:30 p.m., July 27: Noon – 11:30 p.m.

K-Days in partnership with the Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation will host one of Canada’s largest competition Pow Wows. Drummers and dancers from all over North America will compete for monetary prizes awarded in each age category. Plus, Northlands and representatives of the Treaty Six Nations will host the second annual Northlands Indigenous Princess Pageant during Pow Wow. K-Days Talent Search

Where: Alberta Ballroom, Edmonton EXPO Centre     When: July 25-28, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Alberta is full of people who are bursting with talent! The K-Days Talent Search provides a platform for these talented and artistic individuals to grab the public’s attention. Come watch local Albertans of all ages showcase their talents and compete for a grand prize awarded in each of the three age categories. More information is available here.

Canine Stars

Where: Hall A, Edmonton EXPO Centre     When: July 21-30, noon – 9 p.m.

K-Days welcomes back the furry friends of Canine Stars. These incredible dogs have been rescued or adopted from shelters and they will be the stars of the show. Come watch as the four-legged athletes showcase their skills in stunts, Frisbee freestyle, high jumping, agility, flyball racing and dock diving. More details on this event here.

Flippenout Extreme Trampoline Show

Where: Hall C, Edmonton EXPO Centre     When: July 21-30, 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.

This team of top athletes from all over North America includes Olympic medalists and national champions. The athletes soar to heights over 25 fgeet in the air with triple flips and twists, on snowboards and skis, and ball and cirque-style action off of the transparent wall. Located within Adrenaline Rush, this is a unique and exciting show for all ages.

Traditional West Coast Lumberjack Show

Where: North Plaza, Production World Stage     When: July 21-30, 2:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

K-Days offers you an opportunity to witness this unique, action packed, non-stop entertainment show, fun for all ages! It features four professional lumberjack athletes who are all current or former Canadian champions in the various lumberjack sport events: chainsaw carving, axe throwing, underhand chop, hot saw race, standing block chop, tree climbing and more!

Laugh Lounge & Dueling Pianos

Where: Hall C, Edmonton EXPO Centre     When: July 21-23 & July 28-30, noon – 9 p.m.

The Court Jester Dueling Pianos are new at K-Days this year. They will be closing off each nightly show in the Laugh Lounge for our 18+ guests. The nightly shows in the Laugh Lounge also include hypnotists and comedians. If you need more information, its right here.

The Farm & Food Lab

Where: Hall B, Edmonton EXPO Centre     When: July 21-30, noon – 9p.m.

The Farm and the Food Lab (inside Kids Town) are great places to take the kids. They can learn all about how their food gets from the farm to their forks. The Edible Garden display will showcase locally grown crops in Alberta and what they are used for. Plus, they can get hands-on experience preparing a dish with the chef that can be enjoyed afterwards. This is just the beginning, there are many other educational and interactive activities throughout this attraction for the kids to take part in, like the Farm to Fork display, the Little Potato Company, the Supermarket and more!
